Tom Kimmel
Tom Kimmel is a celebrated singer/songwriter and poet. His songs have been recorded by Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Cash, Randy Travis, and Joe Cocker, among other luminaries. Featured in motion pictures such as Runaway Bride, Serendipity, and Twins, and in television shows as varied as Captain Kangaroo, Miami Vice, and Touched By An Angel, Tom’s compositions have sold millions of copies around the world, achieving gold and platinum status. He has recorded seven solo albums and one trio, The Sherpas, with Tom Prasada-Rao and Michael Lille. His book of poetry, The Sweetest and the Meanest (Point Clear Press: 2006), is a celebration of his Southern roots, and has added another dimension to his performance art.
