Blue Rock Review

Welcome to the Blue Rock Review

The Blue Rock Review is an annual collected journal of visual art, essays, poetry, and interviews about the creative process. Accomplished artists who come to Blue Rock have contributed a dance of ideas, diverse and compelling. Our readership, too, is culturally and artistically eclectic. We celebrate traditions and honest attempts to rethink them. Our goal is to affirm the value of the creative life and to provoke and inspire conversation toward that end.

Enjoy the chapters we’ve made available here electronically. We’d love to send you the physical Blue Rock Review volumes — there’s nothing quite like a beautiful book. We ask for a donation to help cover our printing costs. We suggest $15 per book plus $5 each for shipping ($10 each for international shipping). Please send check to: The Blue Rock Review, PO Box 619, Wimberley, TX 78676. As always, your feedback is welcome.

Our fifth volume, PLAY, was launched at Blue Rock Artist Ranch and Studio on November 29, 2009, with a day-full of artists, music, readings, and gallery. We’d love to send you a copy (see above for ordering), and it will be posted here later in the year.
